Rod Blagojevich takes his act on the air

Forgot about this guy didn't you? The disgraced former Governor of Illinois who was voted out of office for trying to sell President Obama's Senate seat. Well he's back. Yesterday, Rod Blagojevich sat in for vacationing talk-show hosts Wade & Roma from 7-9 am on a Chicago radio station.

The governor apparently still has not come to grips with the fact that he committed a crime, disgraced himself and his state, and has an impending court case, because he used his air time to defend himself saying he was "hijacked from office."

Below is a clip from the show where Blago is interviewing cast members from the Second City Comedy Troupe. The group is doing a show called 'Rod Blagojevich Superstar,'  and offered him an acting role in the performance.

If Rod Blagojevich learned one thing throughout his term in office and ultimately his political demise, it should have been that sometimes it's better to just keep your mouth shut.

My father told me a long time ago, "it's better to not say anything and have people think you're a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.."

The full transcript of the shenanigans is available here.
