Kanye West & Lady Gaga cancel tour

I didn't think much of it when Kanye West told Jay Leno that he has been on the go and had not taken time to deal with his mother's death.

West made the announcement the day after he rudely interrupted Taylor Swift at the MTV VMA Awards.

Apparently West has finally decided to take some time off and regroup. He and budding pop sensation Lady Gaga announced recently that they will cancel their 'Fame Kills' Tour. which was set to make stops around the country beginning in November.

The duo did not give a reason for the cancellation, but one can only imagine it has a lot to do with Kanye's desire to deal with his emotions and get his life back together.

Kanye West OK's South Park bashing

Happy Friday. First of all, let me apologize for not putting anything new up in a few days. I am home in Atlanta right now enjoying some much needed R&R with family and friends. The weather is beautiful, and I haven't been online as much...That being said...

This weeks episode of South Park has been making quite a stir. Kanye West is the victim for the entire episode because he's the only person who doesn't catch a joke Cartman and Jimmy come up with. The joke takes the nation by storm. Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan etc. all use the joke on their shows. Cartman and Jimmy appear on Ellen to talk about the joke and how fantastic it is. Without giving away too much, let's just say the joke involves 'fishsticks.'

West, who's known to have a short temper (see post on LAX paparazzi incident) did not take offense to the beating he took, even acknowledging that he was OK with it on his blog.

808's & Camera Breaks: Kanye West charged with 3 misdemeanors

The Los Angeles City Attorney has charged Kanye West and his manager, Don Crowley with 3 criminal misdemeanors; battery, vandalism, & grand theft. 

The charges stem from an altercation West and his manager had with a paparazzi member on September 11, 2008 in the Los Angeles airport. As West and Crowley walked through the terminal, like most celebs, they were greeted by the paparazzi.

West & Crowley smashed a few cameras and lights, and the ordeal was caught on camera.

If convicted, Kanye could face up to 2 1/2 years and Crowley could get 5 if convicted on all counts.
